Well this is were I got 3 of my fish: Yello-yello, Patches and Spotty 3. The fish there look very healthy and it Doesn't have a 'tank of doom' like our UFS (usuall fish store) there was a black moor with no eyes. (who died the day after we saw him) and I asked mum if we could get him. mum said well lets see. She reported him to a shopkeeper and then the Shopkeeper said O.K you can have him but would you like us to keep him in the hospital tank for a day before you perchese him. mum was amazed! till this day we've never seen any other LFS with a hospital tank with them. Mum thought they would just thro him in the bin. Mum said yes please and we'll pick him up tomorrow. But sadly the next day the Fishie died. but anyway this LFS is very good and nice in my opinion. thats why I listed it today.

Their fish section is not large, but has a good collection of goldfish (never seen a dead fish) and tank paraphernalia. Price is average. Their driftwood collection is one of the best I've seen, and for good price too. Staff has OK knowledge about fish. d_golem

Self-proclaimed "pet superstore". Store certainly big, and fish section takes up about half the store biggrin.gif. Great great collection of fish (one of my favourite is this HUGE white/golden gourami). The GFs does not disappoint, they have a steady supply of fantails, comets, shubs, commons, & black moor, with fancier types (pearlscales, ranchus, orandas, ryukins) often also available. They even got some unusual fish like single-tailed black moor. Got the best array of aquarium decorations. Staffs specializing in fish always available to help. d_golem

Store is a bit messy, but has an great range of fish, fresh & saltwater. Staff very knowledgeable. Tank equipment range leaves something to be desired. GF collection a bit lacking, but other species is well represented. Slightly pricier. d_golem

Specializes in freshwater & tropical fish. Huge store, about 1/3 of the premise is dedicated to GF & koi. More equipments & ornaments on display than u can poke your sweaty little hands to biggrin.gif . Has the best array of GF as far as I know. Almost all the fancy kinds are readily available, big & small, some of them not available in other stores. Wide range of tropical fish. Price is very very competitive, and best of all is that the staffs seem genuinely passionate about fish. Highly recommended. d_golem

Owners have been running the store for 20+ years, all very knowledgable about fish, got trops and quite a few imported african cichlids, also tree frogs, other aussie frogs and lizards, turtles. They are currently considering increasing their goldfish area, they have a pond section outside which they have recently renovated, have some good pond goldfish display tanks. Staff are really knowledgable very passionate about gf, have been trying to source more obscure breeds that don't get imported regularly and recently has been successful in getting Tosakins into Australia! I've got one and he's such a cutie!!!, they're also trying to get jikins in to aus, if you want something show quality they're the ones to talk to, they mightn't be able to get you the fish you want immediately, but they hand picks all fancy gf from the distributors and can keep their eye out for what you want. 10/10 Tosakin in Oz

Review:
Marine & freshwater supplies. Great range of equipments & miscellaneous things. Huge range of freshwater & marine fish. Maybe because of the size of the store and the sheer number of fish, the goldfish section feels a little bit neglected. It seems that the store's priority is the tropical & marine tanks. The smaller tanks which houses smaller GFs is ok, but bigger tanks which houses larger fish got at least one fish close to death with dropsy or swim bladder problem. The sight of both a magnificent adult red cap oranda & a beautiful large ryukin drifting upside down with chronic dropsy & fungus made me itch all over. Pity, because the store have the most breeds of GF I've seen in Perth. I'll buy stuff there for sure, just not the goldfish, don't wanna risk an infection in my tank. d_golem

Review:
A pet & garden warehouse. Different stores, different prices, different GF availability, but mostly similar. The ones I've been to (Joondalup & Wembley) got some of the lowest prices on goldies in perth, up to half the price of other pet stores. They got good range of GF, all in relatively good condition depending on the store. Got some of the cheapest aquariums. Definitely worth a look. d_golem
