Keep a journal of your water changes and all chemical testing and anything that goes on in your tanks, its really helpful to be able to review your tank history when something goes wrong. I include everything in there from salinity, KH, Ph, etc... goldfish behavior, addition of new plant. If you keep it in a looseleaf binder, you can add tips from the internet, like what people say on Koko's, website info and best of all, photos of goldfish and aquarium catalogs. Sometimes, I just curl up on the sofa with my journal and read my catalogs or look at cool facts. I figured out what was wrong with one of my fish, just be reviewing this info.
Best wishes,
Kiko!
