Weighing Down Fake Plants 8-01-03/8-30-03
If you have a problem with large fish uprooting your
fake plants, heres a great solution! Take some large
river pebbles and use aquarium silicone to attach them
to the bases of your plastic plants. Glue them on
either the resin bases or the clear plastic bases
(either one will work). This way you can set the
plants on the bottom and theyre too heavy to move,
they wont tip over, and they still look natural. Be
sure the silicone is completely dried and cured before
putting it in the tank. Only use aquarium silicone
made to be used underwater.
